Says compatible with Krylon cans (nothing more specific than that), bought it to try on my Krylon Colormaxx spray paint and none of the caps will twist onto the can the way the original kylon cap does, they don't fit. all it does is spin without attaching and if you spray with it it just spews paint like its not attached. (AP REPLY) Same as Rustos, not all Krylon cans have the same valve system therefore. These are not specifically made for Valspar or Krylon, these are caps we/ve tested that have the best compatibility but each brand is going to be different.
I think Bobby Hampton (above comment) summed things up real well here. I like these caps a lot and although you do have to press down and forward to use it, it's not beyond the wit of man and kind of reminds me of a dual action airbrush function. I'm able to get nice lines and smooth blends with this cap. All around a great "do it all" cap.
So far I have prototyped these just making lines and some practice fills and I really like the feel and control of these caps. Nice squared lines that vary with can distance from surface and the fill ins are solid and smooth.
Good for places you wouldnt write with a mop.(good pair with normal 007)
the ball is a bit tricky/you need to roll or squeeze it to get it started so it doesn't skip.
DOESNT write on smooth surfaces/annoying but not what it was made for.
can be squeezed for drips.
3 2/3 stars on its own.
