I tryed in the rain didn't work but still amazing on poles, concret, boards, and mailboxes. But wish th really were water working(apreply) if you want something that writes on anything then get a Hobo Marker.

I live in the Pacific NW and when I read you could write on most surfaces even when wet I was psyched. However I did not think most surfaces meant metal and plastic. I could not write on these when wet and that is what all new paper dispensers and dumpsters are made of so I can only write on what, wood and rock? On the positive side I used one to write over wet paint and it cut right through it on to the surface below. The buff probably crapped themselves.(apreply) That's why us NW writers use Markals bro. They will cut through grease and water.
dont buy flourescent colors, they fade, especially neon yellow, but these are the streakers to get, f*ck the rest(apreply) They fade to white so its like buying a white with a bit of a bonus
