I first tried these with the ring attached. It works. Nice thin lines. But i was disappointed with lack of flare. Then someone told me to take the ring off like with the fat cap ap has. I figured it wasn't leaking so the ring could stay. So theres really 2 ways to use this cap. With the ring on u can get super skinny likes n soft slow spray. Pop the ring off n u get a cleaner slightly fatter flared spray. I enjoy catching small pimped out flare tags with these. I can tell for piecing they will be very nice. Similar to the ap fat, its slow and controllable. Like the little brother that won't clog as fast. 3.5 or 4 fingers fat, and i got lines skinnier than a pencil!
I would call these a thin cap. If u hold the can back to get a bigger spray, it just mists. Like a blue dot like ap said. Idk according to mtn a blue dot is a fat cap.. if u put a blue dot on a hp can, it sprays like a nyfat on steroids, huge soccer ball sized cones. But i believe new rustos are lower pressure. ive taken similar caps off of pam cooking spray n also sun block spray and those came out a lot fatter. Nice to fill with. I couldn't imagine doing an illegal fast fillin with these.. like i said it would be like filling in with a blue dot. For a pwall or chill spot, sure. I got lines as skinny as a pencil n as fat as 3 fingers, but on the misty side.
I wrote about this cap when they came out. Its never posted i think ap didnt like what i said but ill try again. This cap sprayed exactly like a stock cap to me. I felt ripped off. No clean controllable lines like every one else is saying. I wish it worked like that for me. No i didnt mix them up, i immediately marked them when i got them by cutting a piece of the hood off. Yo gr u should make a video on these and all the female caps.
Was great flowed fine, good control, wrote on basically everything besides rough concrete but I'm not sure what happened the tip kinda went up into the shaft and wouldn't come back out making it unuseable
Bought a white one of these a while back. I used it quite frequently and I have to say I love it. This thing literally writes on anything. I once wrote on an oily rusted piece of metal and it worked perfectly. Its kinda annoying picking the scab off each time but for the price you cant go wrong.
I bought a red one of these babies and holy sh*t was I impressed! It writes so smoothly and is very weather resistant. These are far better than the sakura paint stick. Stop thinking about it and buy one of these markers! you won't regret it.
