It all depends on the color if you ask me. My buddy was all stoked on one that he had. It was like apple or grass green i cant remember.. that thing didn't cover a thing. It was very blotchy and just didn't look smooth at all. But the metallic colors on the other hand.. they burn pretty much anything.. I had the mini one of this in in metallic blue and it covered everything.
They're just ok... I'm personally getting sick of that kind of nib that comes with them and all those OTR markers. They just don't flow the way they should especially if your using paint. I had this marker rigged up with some Chrome Grog...It wasn't the greatest duo thats all I'm going to say. If your going to get this marker I'd say get some nice staining black red or blue ink..ya know something thats dark..that should run more smoothly and cover up stuff like a charm(Like Do em dirty, OTR hard to buff or your own stuff)
great marker. takes a few lines to get going if you haven't used it for a little while so blot a little out before starting to write you first signature of the evening - after that, flows great, you can write very fast without it getting streaky. small but not superfine round nib makes it a good size for casual targets that are still readable from a reasonable distance.
