This review is of one who has heavily, heavily street tested this dope cap for several years now out in the real world. Cap Rocks hard. You will get some gnarly tags. Big as f*ck. Perfect for Hitting Up a Nice Avenue corner and dropping a dope head to tippy-toe hollow. Works well on cheap rust control, Simple $3 male cap valve found in walmart, basically a slightly less durable rusto. Great can with this if you arent some rich f*ck dropping $11 just to get a hardcore for tagging/throws. Real writers use what they can.
They also work great on tall boy maxi loop 600ml cans and other male valve tall boys.
You want your tags to be big, noticeable, and clean to read at 40+mph in a car or on foot. This cap is my preferred next to a regular fatty and female fats for rustos.
I picked one of these with my last order and I gotta say, this is my favorite size/style of the correction pens AP has to offer. A much larger well than the minis and still a much more low pro design that a full size pentel. I have filled mine twice now with Magic white ink and I totally dig the results. Drippy if ya squeeze it, tight and clean if ya dont. Im very pleased to have one of these in my pack.
Oh sh*t, son, these lil' pocket mops are my new secret weapon!! I mixed up a hand full of colors and filled 5 of these honey pots for a show in Echo Park last night. Smashed everything in sight, drips a plenty and smooth hits galore. I was surprised at just how long each mop was lasting me and i still had some ink left in one to hit up the local Toxic Hell bathroom this morning (the employee that walked in immediately after my sh*t and tag was probably not too stoked.)
Currently Im looking at these mops as single fills since the nibs are a pretty tight squeeze, hence have a 20 pack in my ap cart right now. The nib is the same as the AP Toxic Shocker, which is a great size for hitting on the quick n easy. I have found Magic, Pilot, Magic/Pilot mix and OTR Soul paint to work beautifully thru these mops/nibs, and I see no reason why a plethora of other options wouldnt work as well.
Great little empty. Small enough to always have a couple in your pocket. Keep it on smooth surfaces and she'll do great. Definitely put Magic Ink in it. Also good for flexin on slaps.
I'm not thrilled by these empties. The nib is super stiff. I've tried Magic Ink and Montana acrylic in them and not gotten amazing results. The body is more narrow than a Molotow 127 and a little harder to fill.
This ink is killer. The white is amazing. The red was more transparent than I had hoped, so I mixed some white into it and I'm super happy with the results. If you're on the fence about picking some up, just do it. You won't be sorry.
