the pilot is a classic one of the best and most reliable markers personally i would only recommend the black for outdoor use because all the other colors fade pretty easily in my opinion but the black is the best nib is very durable and easiest marker to refill and modify back in the day we would take out the wadding after using the marker for a hot minute cut the wading into either half or a quarter take off the nib and use the wadding as the nib take duct tape wrap it around the top until you can put an old film cartridge over it as the cap and just fill that with your favorite ink so these are the easiest to modify easiest to refill least expensive and most reliable the classic black pilot
