| Does this have the same problem as the mini crusher where if you leave solvent based or alcohol based ink or paint in the mop then the body will expand causing the nib to become loose and fall out???

ArtPrimo: Because of the harsh chemicals in paints and inks mop bodies it will weaken plastics over time. This goes for most medium and low density mops. Higher density mops do better but they are harder to squeeze for drips.
Since these are bottom fed you don/t need to pull the nib off and on like other models so you will be fine.
