So like, there's a an abandoned subway tunnel in Rochester, New York. Built in 1919 over the bed of the former Erie Canal and opened in 1927. The subway ran until June 30, 1956 even though it was popular with citizens. It failed to generate the revenue neccesary for its survival and by the 1940s it's downtown stations had been overtaken by drunks, transients, and other unsavory characters. What were left with today is a beautiful street art gallery in it's natural habitat beneath the streets of Rochester. See flicks and find out more at
