According to The National Weather Service the high for Wednesday is supposed to be 99° -- you read that right, 99°, though the university of Washington is reporting 102° at its Seattle campus. And 96° Thursday. The high temperature might finally fall below 90° on Friday.
The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat warning until 6 p.m. Thursday, saying that temperatures will drop into the 60s for only a few hours late at night. Forecasters also expect that air quality could deteriorate, so has issued an air stagnation advisory.
Thanks to the lack of a/c and wonderful insulation in Seattle apartments, yours truly slept outside on the balcony, shirtless!
