SEATTLE, WA – Art Primo Seattle is thrilled to present Fright Night! Hosted by Art Primo Seattle and curated by Liz Suman, Fright Night! is a group exhibition featuring new and original works from a group of (primarily local) Pacific Northwest artists and their various interpretations of the timeless theme of FEAR.
In honor of Halloween, the themes for this show are fright and fear and works will set out to answer or interpret the question: What terrifies you? Potential subjects may or may not include: fright, fear, death, broken hearts, psychopathic cats, bloody limbs, Halloween iconography, terrifying sex (as well as sad and/or strange sex), gorgeous vampires, overly saccharine Gothic school girls, fire-breathing trick or treaters, Who really shot Laura Palmer?TM, Things That Go Bump in the Night, and any number of other literal, figurative, serious, funny, irreverent, and/or shocking answers to the consistently interesting and occasionally profound question: What are you afraid of?
Fright Night! will be the first exhibit in Art Primo’s new Seattle gallery space and retail showroom on Pine Street in Capitol Hill.
Show Open October 9 through October 23, 2014.
Daily exhibition hours: Tues-Sat, 12pm-7pm; Sun 12-4pm; closed Monday and by request.
