Well the Seahawks were able to pull off a four game sweep for their 2009 season. The Seahawks played the Oakland Raiders on Thursday September 3rd. It was a great game, a 31-21 win for the Seahawks. This last pre-season game gave rookies the opportunity to make the final 53-man roster and be able to prove themselves worthy. Aaron Curry rookie linebacker had a few great plays where he stopped running back Michael Bush for a four yard gain on a third and 11 play. He also was able to drop fullback Luke Lawton for a one yard loss after he caught a third down pass. The Seahawks first season game will be on Sunday September 13th against the St. Louis Rams here at home in Qwest field. Good luck Sea Chickens we are hoping you will have a great season!
