CraftWave SKETCHY Twin Marker   by Graditude -  A Top 50 Reviewer! (Read all my Reviews) 07/23/2020
CraftWave SKETCHY Twin Marker Holy cow the chiseled tip brought me back to third grade; mad Mr. Sketch vibes. Crisp lines, this side is most useful for multiple consistent line widths.

The brush tip is larger than I expected but very versatile: barely scraping the page is just under 1mm, writing more naturally 2-3mm, and holding the marker at a low angle saturated 7mm lines lay breezily. It's also not really a brush in sense of being composed of loose bristles like a paint brush, rather I'd compare the brush side to a oversized felt-tip marker (think Sharpie tip but instead of a IBM ThinkPad clown nose nub for a nib it's a mini model rocket's balsa wood nose cone).

Snagged one of these in black to outline on watercolor paper, reminded me of Copic twins. I haven't much experience these sort of markers, but my first impressions have been great!

I intend to use this marker mostly on paper, but coverage writing quickly on cardboard holds up well and even glossy porous(?) surfaces like photo paper or tape which mark very well. Marks on glass, but is rubbed off easily like suborn dry erase.

Go CraftWave!! I hope this performance keeps up as I use the marker more as I'm not sure Sketchies can be refilled easily. It looks like the brush side section can be pulled out (chisel section is part of the body's mold), but I'm fiddling with mine now and suspect I'll fuss up the plastic trying to remove it. I saw someone ask and want to also express interest in the ink inside them!

Pentel Presto Pen   by Anonymous -  A Top 50 Reviewer! (Read all my Reviews) 07/23/2020
Pentel Presto Pen Goes without saying for sure, but this is a classic. ive tried both this and the press n go *filled with the white magic ink**, and i ve got to say the paint formula that comes in this is thicker and more opaque then the white magic ink. as for the markers themselves, theyre practically the same thing. Ive had a very hard time refilling these, as once i pop the top off, i find its nearly impossible to get it back on. with the press n go you dont have that problem because its a screw on top. Overall if you just want a white marker go with this and buy them in bulk, and if you want color just go with the press n go and fill it with what you please. i like this better personally, because im a very black and white kinda guy. But, as GR says, youre your own grandpa, doowhatchalike!

Original Lego Thin Caps   by Slime9 - (Read all my Reviews) 07/15/2020
Original Lego Thin Caps I pretty much only do throwies and burners. For the longest time I used NY fats for everything (fills, outlines, double outlines and tags) since they’re bold and easily seen when driving by. But I started to want a bit more control over detail and not dump as much paint. I ordered 20 to try them out and HOLY BAWLZ. These things are freakin tits. It’s basically a NY fat, just on a smaller scale. You can get the same flares as a fat, same control as a fat, on a much smaller scale. The lines a ridiculously crisp. Previous reviews have said that you can do fills with em, not really my cup of tea. I still prefer a NY for my fills and bigger throwies/burners. But as far as outlines and tags...? BUTTER. No doubt. Gimme a pocket full of fats and legos and I’m SET. Don’t sleep on these. I did for years and regret it. I’m not a big cap guy. I just need to get the job done and that’s all I care about. Legos and fats til the day I die.
