SF Refill - Industrial Mop Paint 8oz Questions And Answers
Why won't you guys give up what 'solvent' is in the paint. I think it's alcohol but what is it?
ArtPrimo: Sorry for any confusion, "solvent-based" is an industry term much like "oil-based" or "alcohol-based". It is not the same as alcohol-based. If you are interested in the full Materials Safety Data Sheet, email info@artprimo.com and we'll send you a copy.
antman: it's in a plastic bottle so it's safe to assume if there is xylene, there isn't alot. probably acetone, alcohol and maybe petroleum solvent. but like ap said, ask for the MSDS sheet.it's in a plastic bottle so it's safe to assume if there is xylene, there isn't alot. probably acetone, alcohol and maybe petroleum solvent. but like ap said, ask for the MSDS sheet.
Kachi_0N3: Mineral spirits would probably be the diluent for it, I assume. Good as is though for mops. Imo it stays up better than the otr paints. Mineral spirits would probably be the diluent for it, I assume. Good as is though for mops. Imo it stays up better than the otr paints.
