Pilot is a classic permanent ink, respected for its smooth flow and opaque formula. Pair this refill with your Pilot Jumbo Marker, Pilot Broad Tip Marker, or the Pilot Fine Tip Marker to keep them fresh. Also works beautifully in the Magic Ink Glass Body Empty Marker or mixed into your favorite mop. Pilot Refill Ink is housed in a 30ml glass jar and equipped with a pipette for precision filling.
Please note: If using Pilot Refill Ink in a plastic mop, be sure to use it quickly- this formula includes Xylene and will degrade plastic over time.
AP Tip: A bottle of refill ink can fill a Pilot Jumbo about 10 times. What a deal!
toroner 04/27/2022 I always mix a bottle or two of this stuff into my homemade acetone pen ink to make it pure black. I see some people mix it with alcohol, but xylene and alcohol dont really mix, so I would suggest using acetone with this so you dont have to shake every time. 5 of 5 Stars!

KovaH 02/27/2022 Mixed some pilot red, green and blue (3 different markers) with some montana silver alcohol based paint one on a 8mm pump valve for slaps and it gave it the silver with green outline to it… and when i hit spots with made it like a silver with green on the inside hit some tarp type sh*t and it gave the silver and red in a mop a dope silver with drippy reds and the same with the silver and blue mix made a metallic blue. Im still messing with the ratios but try it out!!! Peace yall stay up!! Oh shake the sh*t out of it before you hit a spot also check the nib dont stick to the cap lol 5 of 5 Stars!

HIRAETH 02/07/2022 Great, cheap ink. Blue is KING! If you use this in a plastic marker or mop make sure to use it fast because this has xylene in it witch melts plastic. But overall it’s a great buy! 5 of 5 Stars!

slik.one 11/20/2020 This ink has got to be the best ink besides the stock paint that comes in the uni. IT. DOESN´T. GET. ANY. BETTER. this stuff is total fire. Managed to fill an entire big squeeze with this, and oh my gosh, will never forget that night. Did a quick tag at the top of an electric box, and the drips were dripping off the box onto the ground. Drippy af. Get some of this now u wont regret. 5 of 5 Stars!

Question: would this work in a pixo thanks AP Answer:(AP Reply)Yes, it will.
Question: Can I use this in the art primo drip mop mini? Answer:(AP Reply)You can, but don't leave it in the body for too long- this ink has Xylene, which can degrade plastic over time.
Question: How is this packaged? Answer:(AP Reply)Pilot Refill Ink is packaged in a glass jar, it ships with a small dropper for filling.
Question: I love this ink, and I love it so much and use it so much it gives me headaches. Is there a different ink that is just as good but less smelly? Thanks AP :D Answer:(AP Reply)Rule of thumb, the worse it smells, the better it's going to be. We always suggest using solvent based inks and paints with good ventilation.
Question: What doesn't this ink mix with? Would it be good to put in a pentel shorty? Or a uni broad? Answer:(AP Reply)This is an alcohol based ink so anything alcohol based will work. Depending on the color they do different things with the Uni Paint.
Question: would this work as a thinner for the 901 soultip,
i imagine it would, as they are both alcohol based. Answer:(AP Reply)You could, that would work.
Question: can i toss this in a unpaint broad? Answer:(AP Reply)Yes.
Question: Do you know of a way to brighten up the red version of this ink? I was thinking thag mixing a silver ink would probably work, but unsure of any/anything that would be compatible with it. Thanks! Answer:(AP Reply)Brighten? Send us an email, you might be wanting something that doesn/t exist. artprimo.com@gmail.com
You can/t lighten up a dye based ink without adding white pigment essentially turning it into a paint... and making it pink.
