Pilot Jumbo Marker Questions And Answers
Question: Is it possible to make one of these as or close to being as juicy as a mop? I don’t need it to flow super good, I just want it to have a bit of drippyness. I have a couple old pilots I can try to modify to do this.
Answer: (AP Reply) Hi, we don/t make these. You can add more ink to them if you need them to be juicier though.
Question: Can you replace the nibs on these?
Answer: (AP Reply) We don/t sell the replacement nibs, not sure if Pilot offers them either. They are super inexpensive so easily replaceable.
Question: Do the ones you sell have xylene or are they xylene-free?
Answer: (AP Reply) This is not the xylene free line.
Question: does the nib flare at all
Answer: (AP Reply) You/d have to make some adjustments to it. This marker has a crisp chisel nib but basically you can flare out anything with a flick of your wrist sooo.... Yes?
Question: Ay ap, classic AWSOME black marker.. Just add a little speedflow when its new and sh*ts deadly! Would u agree AP?? Speedflow in this mixed with the pilot ink makes it better and harder to buff?
Answer: (AP Reply) We don/t see the need to mix the 2 unless you have no Pilot on hand and use Speedflow to refill? Both Blacks are amazing as is.
(Trav D Says:) Ok ok well its to late now. I added just a liiittle bit of speedflow in a brand new pilot.. Nd it flows even better but like u said after ahwile it could mess it up but works great for now.. I was the type that would neverr mix inks Especilly speedflow idky i did it but yea thanks (AP REPLY: Sounds tight, we love ourselves a nice black ink.)
