Rail Monikers have been around for years. A simple communication art very similar to what we do, but with a whole different history.
the culture around this is rooted in rail lore and hobo legends. Some of these have been running so long (seen some over 40 years old) that it's kind of a shame to see them getting covered by someones stamp.
So next time your in a yard, take some time to respect the monikers and try not to go over them.
A classic example of a Moniker "The Colossus of Roads"
When hitting Monikers I would suggest the Silver Markal in Particular.
This streak will still write on the most wet train. No other marker will do that.
