Krink K-66 Steel Tip by CookedOnPhonics - A Top 1000 Reviewer! 05/03/2016
Krink K-66 Steel Tip Been getting heavy on trying different pens recently, and thus far, even after testing the steel blitz, these are my favorites. The way it sits in my hand is super comfortable. It writes smoother than any other pen Ive used. Also I really love how thin the lines can be while still tapering depending on how you squeeze and flick it.

Ive heard a few people say that they really hated them due to how temperamental they can be, and honestly at first... I was right there with 'em. The ball kept sticking and feeling jerky, it would flow WAY too much or not enough.....

... BUT... then I actually gave it a good 10 minutes of practicing on a sign I have laying around, and I got used to it. You have to be extremely even with the pressure on it, squeezing light but firm, while pressing it to the surface with just the right pressure. If you squeeze too hard, it shoots wildly (which could look good if you know what youre doing), if you press too hard, the ball in the head gets stuck and wont roll. But just trust me, after giving it a moment, and really finding the sweet spot, I guarantee youll be in love.

I notice they take about 10 tags to break in to where itll feel smooth.

My best advice to you? Buy one, find a nice spot somewhere about shoulder height, hidden away where no one will find your toyish warm up tags. And just get used to the pen, youll find just where it needs to be if you give it a solid try. The ball has a light tender feeling to it when it clicks into its place, and the tube feels just malleable enough when youre squeezing it right. Youll love it for sure.

Did I mention the colors are brighter than my outlook on life? (thats honestly super bright btw.....)

Still try out a steel blitz as well. They write thicker, and theyre cheaper. But I tell ya. Regardless. This is a darn good pen. I really like it.

Spring Fever Filled Drip Mop by CookedOnPhonics - A Top 1000 Reviewer! 04/10/2016
Spring Fever Filled Drip Mop Im super new to all of this so take this review with a grain of salt. But I got one to test with drips and also just contribute to the new ink testing.
I gotta say. Drips like a charm. Good nib size to have a prefilled test run of this ink as well. I probably went way too ham on squeezing but I only got about 15 quick writes out of this guy before it lost the power of the flow and lost a significant amount of ink. Another thing that couldve definitely affected the flow is how often I use it. Ive only had it 4 days, but I bust it out like.... maybe once a day. It definitely sits awhile. Probably why I encountered differences in flow.

On the ink itself. Got the orange. Bright as all hells fire! Pops out on most anything Ive put it on. Depending on the surface it dries with different tones. Kind of interesting. Definitely getting the whole pack. I really want to see what the writes look like in the whole range of color schemes available. When I start getting more wild and comfortable Ill definitely try experimenting more. But for now. Im a basic beezy. New to this. Wouldnt even know where to start with additives or mixing. From what Ive read Id probably figure mixing Garvey into the red could create some interesting and hard tones. Probably leave it staining heavier. But Thatd definitely be after seeing how the red wrote in the first place.

Again. New as hell to this. But Thanks AP for the solid reviews and solid question sections. Definitely help to open doors for the unknowns, experimenters, and kids still improving their work.
