Krink K-66 Steel Tip by Alcyone - A Top 1000 Reviewer! 11/17/2008
Krink K-66 Steel Tip One of the best mop or pen type markers I've used. Takes a little getting used to because you can go from uber thin to fat and drippy with just a little squeeze. Krink is good, juicy stuff.

One4All 627HS Marker by Alcyone - A Top 1000 Reviewer! 11/17/2008
One4All 627HS Marker There is one problem with these pens and that is the nibs. When really juiced up, the nibs will have a tendency to crush sideways as you write, especially when pushing down to pump the ink valve.

Simple solution: Measure out a piece of stiff steel wire (at least 20 gauge or so) to go from the bottom of the valve pin to the top of the nib. Double up the wire and cut the ends on a sharp diagonal. Stick it thru the center of the nib, seating it down in the valve. This way the valve is definitely opening every time you push down. Godly drips.(ap reply) I think your just pushing too hard homie.

Molotow 611EM Empty Marker by Anonymous - A Top 1000 Reviewer! 12/14/2007
Molotow 611EM Empty Marker I like the way they drip but don\'t like the direction they drip in. Problem is when you have the marker angled and push on the nib, the ink will collect on the lowermost lip of the nib holder and drip on the ground.

I modified mine by slowly heating up the four edges of the tip holder and pushing the molten plastic in a bit so it makes more of a seal against the face of the nib. This will make the ink soak into the nib better.

I also recommend putting a little acetone in any alcohol-based paints or thick inks in order to get them to flow a little better. I use this thick-ass specialty calligraphy ink. A 1oz bottle of it is so thick I can dilute it with 2 oz. of acetone before the purple ink stops going on so thick it looks black!

(ap reply) Now that is a good review! This is some mad scientist writer tip. You obviously are a doer and thinker. you get the gold star.
