Postby (^ ^) on Thu Sep 20, 2007 7:14 pm

i never really made ink except ghetto krink...

so i was wonderin if using bleach is good for making really good white ink mixed with white marsh because i want something thats really pale and can stain too...

i'm also putting some other stuff in too like fish oil n stuff... im still kinda researchin this sh*t before i actually make the ink

I dunno about white inks, but here's a little something:

Grover's 3, 2, 1 black mix:

3 Parts Marsh
2 Parts Leather Dye
1 Part Brake fluid

Add together and stir. No boiling down or crazy business like that. Drippy, opaque, and delicious. Not to mention staining power.

DO NOT add it to a mop. The sponge tips melt because this mix is too acidic.

Enjoy.

The majority of markers are made with white PAINT, not ink.

Marsh makes the pigment ink in white.
Do Em Dirty makes a mini-mop with the oil based Outdoorsman in white ink as well.

marsh T-grade ink white ink is available, but be sure to shake it really well, the pigment sticks to the bottom of the can like no other I actually use a can opener to mix it with a stick and put it in a jar

hope that helps,,,,

Krink is actually very thinned paint. Some companies may say it is ink but it might be paint or a mix.

Sentone: paint isn't ink. Ink soaks in to stain, while paint simply covers and adheres. Also Krink can't be made from spray paint, 1 cuz its ink and 2 cuz krink is not aerosol like spray paint.

ok your right about the ink but im sure if some paint company went crazy they could put it in a can...why?... cuz the propellent is what gives the spraypaint an aerosol characteristic. brake cleaner can be an aerosol or liquid...why couldn't ink.

just thought i'd throw another wrench in. enjoy.

True, I'm just saying that KRINK itself does not come in an aerosol format. That would be pretty f*ckin sick tho
