So I've been using Magic White Ink in one of these and it's working beautifully so far. It writes opaque as hell and once you get the marker going, it only takes a quick pump to saturate your nib back up. With a round nib it's like a Pentel Shorty Plus.
They're super pocket friendly, I always keep one or two in my purse.

I tested one with a smash and pilot mix because i wanted to see for myself how the xylene ink affected the marker. Just like one of the previous reviewers, within like a few hours of testing it on and off with some sheet metal the valve froze up at halfway shut. I banged the nib on a piece of wood a few times and it forced the valve open, where it's now permanently stuck. The ink freeflows into the nib pretty well, but it doesn't get as juicy as the one with the working valve. storing it nib side down keeps it nice and ready to write.

All in all a really nice marker, it's sturdy and cute, the cap goes on real firmly, and it's got a pretty mean nib for the body size. Try to avoid xylene but if you really like a particular xylene ink for it, it'll do fine if you babysit it a little.

They're really fun for eggshells, too ~ !  5 of 5 Stars!
