these caps spray far, but in my experience, they didnt spray that fat. i would compare it maybe to a kilz cap, but a bit fatter, and probably a bit higher output also.

works great if you need to reach high with a valspar can, but if you are expecting a fat cap, i would go with the valspar flare cap over this one.

overall 4 out of 5 stars.

these guys are the f*ckin business! nice fat lines and easy to control. works great for piecing and i could see using them for bombing also. used them on valspar, and they also work great on black hawk paint. 5 stars easy.

i didnt like these caps at all. they seem to have a delay between when you depress the nozzle and when the spray comes out. there is also a small delay when your release the nozzle and when it stops spraying.
i tried them on both valspar and blue hawk cans, and it did the same thing. i also tried more than one cap and they all did it.

its a shame because i really liked the spray pattern of this cap and the softness/ease of spray coming out. but the delay just sh*ts on my can control game...

did anyone else experience this with these caps?

ap did i get some faulty ones, or is this how they are supposed to work?

i just ordered some gem caps before i tried these out so i hope they dont have the same problem as they are the same style of cap.

i used these today on x2 for the first time.

i have been using the v1 female fats and the ez-riders instead of these lately, but today i decided i better use them because i bought them...and oh sh*ttt, am i glad i did! i really like them. they spray similar to the ez-rider and the v1 female fats, but i think these are more comfortable than either of those.

i cant say much about clog factor yet because ive only used them on 1 fill, but i will say that they are probably less clog prone than the v1 female fats because i only had to use 1 for the whole fill and 3d. so i think these are going to turn into my go-to caps for piecing with rustos or x2.

id also like to say that i only used 1 can for my fill whereas before i would have probably used 2. i dont know if this cap has much to contribute to that, or if its purely because im getting better at can control, but its worth noting. the piece was pretty big too, id say probably around 5 or 6 feet across, and 3 or 4 feet high.

it seems to me that this cap, the ez rider, and the v1 female fat cap all have a similar feeling to them, but its butter all the way around, so you cant really go wrong with any of the bunch.
id reccomend picking up all three female fat/outline caps and comparing them to see which you like best.

im gonna go ahead and give this cap 5 stars because the can control/spray is f*cking amazing. it also didnt clog while filling in my piece today and i switched it out between 2 cans. it also feels nice and solid when i slid it on the can, and there is no air gap between the can and the cap like there is with the ez rider and the v1 donut female fat cap.

this sh*t is great for piecing. it gives you great control with rusto or x2 cans.

like the regular female fat, if you want to use this on rusto or x2, pop the blue collar off and push the cap on the valve until it snaps. the paint will come out a bit while doin this, but dont worry you wont use up that much.

i love using these guys for outlines of my pieces and for all around borders. its also good for fills.

i have found that these dont clog quite as easy as the v1 female donut fats, so in the future, i think i will be using these more often than those for the the fills too.

although i havent used them a whole lot, i have done 3 pieces with these ez riders. the second two times i used it, i re-used the cap for both outlines. if i did this on the v1 donut cap, it probably would have clogged. thats why i like these.

on the first piece i did with it, i used this for the outline, and i started to do the fill with this, but i switched to the v1 female donut fat instead, which i seemed to like better for that piece, although it was the first time using this cap... now these are great for the fills imo, so take that with a grain of salt.
on the second piece, i used this for the fill and the outline and it was fat enough and turned out great.

my recommendation would be to get these and the v1 female fat cap, and also the softie white/black fat cap and try em all out to see which you like best.

im going to take 1 star off the review because its a bit harder to take these out of the housing without fear of warping or breaking the cap while twisting/removing the housing ring. i've remedied this by using a knife or a leatherman to cut the bend that connects the cap to the housing. the donut fats just snap out easy compared to these;but that is my only real gripe with these caps.
all in all these are an awesome cap. get them if you want to turn your x2 or rusto into butter machines; everyone loves butter.

these are dope as f*ck for bombing! high output, and fits great on regular rusto and 2x. its my go to cap for bombing with these. it puts out more paint faster than a stock rusto cap, but dont let that turn you away. these are dope.

a little too much output for piecing, but if you had to use it for piecing, you could hold the can further away from the wall if you want.

if you want to go bombing, get these bad boys you wont regret it. if you want to piece look at the ap softie white, the ez rider or the v1 female fat.

these are the f*ckin sh*tt! i chose this over the coversall 1 or 3 because the 400 ml can is a regular shaped and sized can. some of the other ones are super tall and skinny even if they are the same volume. so keep that in mind when ordering. i didnt want to run around with an awkward shaped can unless i was using the 750ml guys.

also, ap, do these come with euro pink dots now instead of regular pink dots? (the caps with the black body and the pink dot? because the ones on mine i bought about 3 months ago (summer 2015) come stock with black caps that have a pink dot, instead of the normal pink dot with white body. in case anyone is wondering...

great can, great spray output, and it covers!

seriously get this. i reserve mine for bombing when i use my burner copper because it covers it, while a regular rusto or normal paint will have the chrome bleed through it.
its also great for use on absorbent walls... think wet wood, or fresh concrete.

if i could use these for bombing every time, i would. thats how dope this is.

i guess its supposed to turn a bit brown after awhile, because of the tar, but i dont mind that. its just the nature of the beast.
