Questions (31)

Question: Does this product mix well with Steve Garvey 2.0? At least does it mix well with other alcohol based inks/paints?
Answer:(AP Reply)Hi there. The base to this product is alcohol, but in a proprietary blend created by Molotow. One4All does mix with many other inks and paints, but we recommend always first testing a small amount to ensure the blend is as desired.

Question: So I'm new into the molotow world, got a bunch of hs 127 paint markers and they are amazing on canvas. What would be the point of using the high solid ink instead of the high solid paint in those?

Question: I have been adding zinc yellow to my color mixes and it really makes a nice shade.
For example, 1 part Red, 2 parts yellow, and 4 parts white is my current favorite.

Question: Hows this product in a mini drip mop AP??
Answer:(AP Reply)Very nice!

Question: i want to use them on leather shoes ... are they water proof ? will the color fade over time ?
Answer:(AP Reply)Yes it will work. To use on Leather add a few drops of Acetone to the ink reservoir. This will make the One-4-All paint adhere to flexible surfaces, like leather. As for waterproofing and fading you will not have any problems the life of the shoe as long as you put an acrylic clear over your art. That would go for any pen though. Always clear coat your art.

Question: Are these good for bombing? like, will they wash up outside / be really easy to buff? or is this sh*t just good at everything? xD
Answer:(AP Reply)It can be used for whatever you want. But its optimized for use in mural and canvas.

Question: dose it work on montana acrylic markers
Answer:(AP Reply)IDK I don't carry that one. I have tried the Montana markers on occasion, but never had the need to mix it. with Molotow. They basically bit Molotow in every way so it probably mixes.

Question: how are these compared to the acrylics you can get at a craft store?
Answer:(AP Reply)They are compatible with each other but not really at all alike. You are comparing a thick tube paint to a marker formula. Its more viscous yet covers better. HS is more like diluted Gouache.

Question: Will the paint that's mixed with acetone adhere to plastic? And Which plastics? Molotow is not very specific about this...Guess i'll have to experiment.
Answer:(AP Reply)I use them on plastic without the acetone. Usually I have to scuff it so it isn't shiny first. it will adhere better that way. But hey try it out and let us know!

Question: Can the refill ink that's mixed with acetone be used in the molotow markers and won't damage them?
Answer:(AP Reply)Of course. Its designed to have acetone added to it. You only need a few drops for a 127 and few drops more for a 227.

Question: hey ap, i know this kinda stupid but how many times will 180ml fill the drip mop mini?
Answer:(AP Reply)about six times
