Pink Sekt Adapters work with many American brands of aerosol paint cans with a more narrow male stem system. We have tested it on Painters Touch, American Accents and Rustoleum. Keep in mind that these brands often use different valves for the same line and even the same color, this adaptor may not work with every can. Please note: cap is not included.

NoNoNe ThE GoD 08/16/2019 torn between having a direct fit female cap on rusto or having an adapter but its always good to have choices in this world so grab a few of these i like to use ny fats boston fats rusto fats or lego thins with my adapters any other cap ehh i really havent had luck with but thats my go to so if you use rusto always nice to have these on deck 5 of 5 Stars!

BORAX BTD 06/27/2018 So fye, i reccoment highly for rusto. Boston fat and skinny and LEGO thin and my fat are all I have used and they all work great. Always painted for free so idk how they compare to female cans :) 5 of 5 Stars!

BillDog 04/17/2018 Just my 2 cents for the people that want to use any cap with rusto properly. Transfer the rusto to a non sh*tty valve empty can with 1 of these and 2 needle caps. You can get huge Astro flares with rusto that way. Have fun. Otherwise you got NY fat/thin Boston fat/thin, lego. Everything else is hit or miss IMO, mostly miss. 5 of 5 Stars!

Mr.decay 01/20/2018 I recently bought a extra one of these just so I don't have to rely on the only one I have.
First off the difference between the old ones and the new ones is the plastic. It has This new glossy smooth plastic. when I put a new York fat on it it would not click on, thus leaking paint everywhere.
I personally think if I am paying 1.95 for a piece of plastic then it should work, but after the leaked paint dried then it started to work. 2 of 5 Stars!

Doug 11/08/2017 With how accessible and quality Rusto paint is, it's almost a requirement to own one of these adapters. I use a mixture of female caps, and these adapters on every project. I have no had any issues with these and have actually purchased more so I wouldn't have to swap cans mid-project. I would recommend this to anyone using male cans. 5 of 5 Stars!

The best paint hands-down is Rustoleum. Over the past year RUSTO has raised the bar and brought back old school colors, while adding a bunch of new ones to the mix. In order to get the most out of the Rustoleum cans, SEKT CAP ADAPTERS are an essential tool. The adapters are easy to operate, they are reusable and, they are ever reliable. It is nice to have 5-10 in your arsenal just in case... Rain, snow, thunderstorm or nuclear fallout, I have complete confidence in this product and it's ability to deliver the sprays needed. 5 of 5 Stars!

Question: How well do the Molotow yellow fat caps on these? ArtPrimo: They will work. You/ll lose a little pressure from the adapter.

Question: Will a sekt Cap adapter work with a astro fat cap? ArtPrimo: Yes, but you loose a lot of pressure. It wont be nearly as good as it is on a proper can. Sekt adapters work best with most thin tips and NYFs. BillDog: You can use the sekt adapter to transfer the rusto paint into a normal can and use Astro's all day, all you need is 2 needle caps/mixer caps. Question: What is the best thin cap you guys have tried on the adapters? NY fats work well on them so I assumed NY outlines would be my best option but if you guys have any better suggestions please let me know. Question: This is a question about the Sket cap with a NY fat on it vs. The AP fem fat caps. I have used Ny fats on crap cans and liked it (does what the classic does) but it was a little hard to get better the decent flares. I have never used the Sekt and read the reviews for both. But I need something for my rusto PTs. Advice? ArtPrimo: I was about to do a review video for you and just realized we are out of sekt adapters again! Foiled by the supply chain...
Basically they are different. The sekt allows the paint caps to produce a similar volume of spray. But the width is tapered by the loss of pressure from the connection. So flares aren't as good. Which is fine for throw ups and pieces but not great for tags.
The female fat makes a way more buttery/flowy flare. but the volume of paint is lower. SO it doesn't put out as much. Not the best for filling in, but really sick for flare tags & fat, clean outlines.
Question: Yo so I'm trying to use these with some astro fats, the ny fats work fine, but these astros just aren't spraying like they should, what's up with that? ArtPrimo: The NY is actually spraying differently as well. You just might not be noticing. You are loosing pressure thought the connection. Thats just the way it is with adapters. Great for thin tips. makes the fats have goofy flares. If you want good flares then get a can of Flame_Blue and pop that astro on.
