poster marker to ink marker:
WARNING: filling it up with paint will completely f*ck it up.
supplies:
1.art skills poster marker (rite aid, office depot, arts and crafts section) there like 5 bucks a 4 pack if you dont rack it
2.nib material, i used some kinda medical sh*t its like a white sheet of cloth. it worked really well
3.gloves if you want. i didnt wear gloves and nothing spilled or got on me so its optional
4.duct tape
5.scissors
5.plyers
6.a knife (the sharper the beter)
8.screwdriver
art skills markers come with two sides, both are a different color. it doesnt really mater which side you do this to. open the cap and take of the little part that holds the nib with your plyers, then cut off the part below it with your scissors and smooth it out with your knife. take out the felt on the inside of that half of the marker. put the screw driver into the hole where the felt was and keep pushing until it hits something. when it does, take your hand and hit it, then the other tip of the marker should fall out. take out the top part of it that contains the nib with your plyers but leave he rest.take your nib material and push it into that little piece with the hole in it (not the one that had the nib in it) and push it through. make sure its tight and on the other side of the piece pull out a little of whatever your using for the nib and use your screwdriver to push it back from the sides so that it forms a rounded shape. on side opposite of the ball nib thing there should be a good leangth of nib sticking out, take that and slide it back into the marker and put in the tip with your new nib in too. it should click two times when you put it in. put the cap back on before you do this: get whatever ink you want to use and pout it into the other side until the ink level is about 1/2 an inch from the hole. take your duct tape and cu off a little piece, stretch that over the hole and cut it a milemeter away from the from the top where the hole is. take your ductape and wrap around once near the top and your done.
this is a really good marker if you do it right, the only downside is that its not like a marker where you just open it and its ready to go. it needs a bit more care then a regular marker, it drips from the tip way too much so be careful
