Krink K-71 Broad Line Marker Questions And Answers
Question: i refilled one of these with pilot ink and a put a new nib in but the nib keeps falling out. any suggestions? should i put a little glue on the butt end?
Answer: (AP Reply) I don't have any sorry. Maybe the marker is worn out. The glue will not work. It will most likely not set.

Question: I am looking for a permanent marker to write on stainless steel water bottles. Do you sell anything that would work?
Answer: (AP Reply) Yes we have a wide varitey of them. I will need a bit more info though. Give us a call so we can help you out. 206-365-4083

Question: question 1. i dont feel comfortable giving you my name address telephone number and everything minus my pin# to ask a question, you guys should try a question bulletin instead or something. main question.. i know krink is all high and mighty and keeps the formula a secret. but im trying to fill my empty k-60's with some grog ink or one shot paint. and dont want prior colors interfering with my new ones. what can i use to thin out the remaining krink paint in the bottles? cause paint and lacquer thinner ain't thinning anything but my patience.
Answer: (AP Reply) Hi there. We have been in business since the 90s and have a stellar reputation. I don't know what would make you feel that way.

The questions and answers area are for customers only and not open to the general internet. Its hard enough to keep up with the questions as is, let alone a free for all format.

Now to your question. Sounds like you are doing a lot of work for far little reward. The Mop paint in the K60 smells alcohol based so try something along the lines with that. Perhaps Acetone might work? IDK for sure though. I wound't bother myself. I just pour in the new color and go tag. People on the street aren't going to care what color it is.

If you are a fine artist working on canvas then I suggest skipping the krink altogether and get one of these.

This is a far more stable medium for canvas and will come out more vibrant and clean. You may pay a bit more at the beginning, but your per oz price is cheaper. Also its acrylic so soap and water clean up is eazy peazy.

Question: How can i stop the ink in my silver k 71 from flowing around the sides and get it to flow through the nib?
Answer: (AP Reply) That's how paint markers work. They will flow through and around the nib.

Question: Are thees markers good for body painting?
Answer: (AP Reply) No not at all. Dont use solvent based markers on skin. Best thing to use is a water-based acrylic like Molotow/s One4All line.
