Smash KO Marker Questions And Answers
Question: can i refill a paint mixture into these? i am thinking of half rusto oil based (thinned out a bit with regular old paint thinner) and half alcohol based ink. do you suppose this would work? or would i ruin it trying to fill it with rusto style paint?
Answer: (AP Reply) You can try, these aren/t marketed to be refillable though.
(CookedOnPhonics Says:) I tried my damndest to open one.... didnt work. Ended up just grinding the crud out of the neck. if someone finds a way to refill them though, I would be really excited to find out! Its a chillin body size, holds a decent amount of paint. I just want to refill it with something else. Have more options on deck ya know?

Question: Yo AP I understand how to refill this marker and I understand that you should use half smash half dye ink. However, I am trying to refill this marker because I'm cheap and I don't want to specially buy smash ink for it. I know I would obviously end up using the smash for future uses but I'm just wondering if there is a more "homemade" formula for refilling these that doesn't require specifically smash ink. Thanks.
Answer: (AP Reply) Best place to look is our forums; http://www.artprimo.com/forums/
There are a few threads on homemade ink recipes.

Question: A wicked price for a wicked marker
Answer: (AP Reply) yes!

Question: love these markers. i cant seem to get them to drip though.
Answer: (AP Reply) Push harder to release more paint from the valve. It also helps to allow gravity to help so hold the marker at a higher angles so paint 'flows' out faster.

Question: Hey ap I tried refilling it but im a dumbass and I need a tutorial vid please
Answer: (AP Reply) Although theoretically you can refill these, they are not specifically marketed to refill. It's not something we should advertise since it's a little more intensive... That being said let's just say a little birdy on our AP Forums may have a tutorial listed for the curious....
