Airbrushing - - -
I read a review the other day about someone using this for airbrushing, so I had my homie bring over his light red, light blue and yellow bottles today to give it a shot - I airbrush hats, shirts, license plates and some other stuff for friends and what not, done a couple small things on cars, so I was anxious to see if this was really a decent paint.
As far as using it as airbrush paint goes, it's some nice paint. I haven't used it fo writing at all. The flow is smooth, doesn't run and didn't get all blotchy, I was pretty surprised. We mixed the red and yellow and got a nice orange out of it. So for airbrushing, it's legit paint. I can't say there was anything about it that disappointed me. If you are running just a compressor, without an air tank, you might run into problems, but if you have at least a gallon tank, this paint will run beautifully.
I don't remember if someone from AP wrote it or a reviewer, but someone said that it's a good price when compared to airbrush paint - not so much - but I'm not saying this is overpriced. It's like comparing apples to oranges instead of apples to apples. 99% of the airbrush paint old in stores is much lower quality than this stuff. You can get roughly the same amount of paint for a little less, but again, it's lower quality. And unless you are buying real high quality/high priced paint online, it's pretty much all the same. This stuff would rank with that internet-sold paint though, usual Molotow: quality. This paint will be more permenant on shirts, hats, and metals than regular airbrush paint, no doubt. The easy-fill cap is real helpful with filling airbrush reservoir, too.
If you airbrush, cop it, use it, love it.
