Tony Starks from Maine, USA    Saturday September 25, 2010 Asked this Question:
Subject: Molotow Burner Copper
Question: I was trying to verify whether the "Molotow Burner Copper 600ml" that you carry is the same as the "Molotow - Burner Kupfer - 600ml" that is on European sites. I notice that the copper on the cap differs. Reason I ask is that I'm looking for a paint that comes as close as possible to reflective, mirror copper, or "copper chrome" as opposed to those non reflective metallic paints that are common. If you look on google the cap on european version is exactly what I want but for some reason the cap on the version you carry resembles what I don't want. Any thoughts on this? And if your Molotow Copper isn't what I'm looking for, do you have any recommendations for a "copper chrome" paint? Thank you !
AP Reply: Hi Tony. They are the same exact paint. The over cap was changed last year. As for finish, this is very reflective but the look is really dependent on how well the surface is prepped and how well you paint. I have seen amazing results and bad results from people. I myself have found that it is really important to continually shake the can to ensure that the metallic particles are evenly distributed. That will make the biggest difference. We also have another metallic paint that is under the Belton line. It is called RAL and we will be launching them this week. I havent used the RAL copper, but I have used the RAL gold, and it is the brightest most shiny gold I have used. I'm sure the copper will be of equivalent quality.
