Yo- I just had to do another review on this product as I hadn't fully grasped what I had got from AP the first time. First and foremost this pen is not for begener calligraphers IMHO.first it's a soft liner and unlike any other calligraphy pen I've seen that has a SOFT nib is still a pump! This is where Molotov inaction comes in. The cap isn't your regular pen cap- you flip the cap around and you juice the nib into top of cap- don't worry about how soft the nib is because it goes into the cap and it pushes edge down around the nib leaving nib perfect- so no need to ever juice this baby anywhere but cap to persevere the greatness of a soft nib. The soft nib threw me way off at first as my favorite calligraphy pen has always been pilot parrelel and they have a sharp hard nib- and are portable. But Witt the soft nib it's real easy to make up strokes and keep the line connecting for cursive italic calligraph or whatever. And B&B it's soft liner you can apply pressure in the same way you can write with a brush tip- and since Molotow like to keep innovating you can just pull out the chisel tip and slap in a brush tip seamlessly. And if that's not enough it's shipped full of Molotow coversall. And even tho at first is hard to get use to pressure and how to make sharp lines and flourishes I'm loving that Molotow made this product as I've still never seen any other soft liner like it! And being able to fell the pressure makes it completely different in the number of effects that can be pulled off, the best way I can explain it is like using a large calligraphy paint brush the way soft chisel nib works but places on great Molotow pen with the best ink ever!!Cope two bc if your like me the first nib may pay the price. Enjoy(APREPLY) See kiddies. THIS is how you write a product review (golf clap)

So like the other reviews said, this marker is bad@$$. It definitely does take some getting used too but the flows great and gives you plenty of creative options for your calligraphy or calligraffiti based handstyle. That being said, in all honesty I seem to have trouble understanding what the true purpose of this marker is. Given that it's filled with covers all (which again is still bad@$$), this marker has bled like crazy on every type of paper I've used (multimedia, Bristol, parchment, and slightly on canvas) it really seems to write best on harder more polished surfaces like glass, plastics, metals, and ceramics. It's almost like there's a bombing marker hidden inside a true art marker. Either way, don't let that hinder your decision here, AP has the best price around and for that fact alone you should most definitely pick one up to experiment with, and even enlighten me as to how I can use this dope little guy properly.

Also little pro tip, like with the other aqua molotow markers, you compress/juice the nib using the cap, but since this has that buttery covers all in it, the rim in the cap can get a little gummy, so just make sure to not over pump and to wipe that little section of the cap off real quick after you're done and you'll be Gucci.

I have been using this marker for a bit and i dig it. and it takes a bit of practice to get used to, it can be frustrating at times. The combination of the ink and nib are a lot of fun to experiment with. You can adjust the length of the nib by pulling on it lightly. these really nibs aren't for everybody, Have no fear if you can't get the hang of the nib, its not a loss you can always pick up a Molotow 2-5mm Calligraphy Nib from AP (2 for $2.99) and still use it. the Coversall works great with the 2-5mm Nib also. The Coversall ink in this is super bold for calligraphy and used on black and dark colored papers you get a nice effect. The grip on the Calligrafx is comfortable slightly textured so no slipping. If you have a couple extra dollars to buy something new and you like to experiment then pick this up. This isn't really for Graffiti, if you get the hang of it grab some Eggshell or Postal blanks and go to town.

This is a great great marker and its filled with Molotow coversall? I actually checked some competitors and there asking 10 for it and 8 for the empty one. And 5 for brush tip or 2mm replacement nib for 5! So get a topped off one from AP or spend twice as much somewhere else but you need this pen if you like calligraf styles or even a good fine point /chesel with Molotow in it
