so you're sayin that on google earth, it shows you an image that is pre 1950's, where there used to be a layup of some sort, but it's now underwater because they added on to the river?

sorry man but i call bullsh*t on that. i don't see the image on google maps being so old. most of the pics they show of the rural area around my city are less then 10 years old. but for some reason they are using pics that are 60+ years old for your neck of the woods? not buying it duder.

i swear. iv lived here all my life. the tracks are a good distance away from the designated area. its a small area.
I think id know means i live like 2 minutes away from the river where it says it is. the closest train yard is near the next town. i wish there still was a train yard here it would be a lot easier. My navigation system took me and my wife to a town that was flooded for an addition to the river also. My buddy told me that they sometimes use a old layout on maps for small towns. idk.

I have been doing some more research on the net and when I looked into the station near my house I drove there and walked around there is nothing but a new house and water. It also gave me another address and it brought me 3 houses away from my grandmothers house. The problem with google earth is they have both map spots almost 2 miles away from there destinations. My town switched to 911 only like 10 years ago and they still have the old address but on new maps. I also found out that the areas are pull offs. Pretty excited now.

Train streakers are dope.
