I know i probably shouldnt be trying to crit but id say scrap that and start fresh work on specific parts like his face first and dial that in with detail and depth so its not so flat looking then work your way down but dont go crazy detail on the face and then a plain ass body (i have that problem) cause then the wack body takes away from all the work and detail you put into the face. and try to venture out from just drawing a normal kid give him a deformity or something make people wanna know what the f*ck you were thinking when you created it.

I wouldn't sketch it on stickers until you get it down on paper first.

I'm going to give all of you the most important advice I can: learn perspective. Specifically, STOP drawing characters in full profile or looking straight on, it looks like sh*t.

yeah, lrn2draw puffer fish, or give up on the puffer fish. I didn't even realize that's what you drew up there. I figured you were going for some Gordo-type thing.
Dude, in all honesty, I would give up the character thing. If you really want to keep at it, just draw stick figures for now, don't post here, and just doodle sh*t til you figure it out.

it's an ok start, just keep drawing it and over time it'll evolve. the mustache is very flat though, and the hat needs work

NO. you don't want symmetry. you want perspective.
