If your goal is to pull off cleaner, unique-looking tags, I DEF recommend the sprayers with a wand! on top of a wand being easier to make tags with, they have a higher paint capacity, & often include multiple spray options or different nozzle tips (broad spray, stream, etc). My fav wand sprayer is one with a copper nozzle tip with an opening somewhat like a "C", designed for spraying pesticides or nutrients downward & to the sides: after some practice u can get cool angled lettering in your tags!
in the cheap HomeDepot pump sprayers with the green top & no wand, you can easily disassemle the front nozzle & inside there is a small plastic ring with mesh in it that u can take out. similar mesh cap is on the end of the stem that reaches down inside the bottle which pops right off.
(maybe not related to classic graff, but in art classes, these cheap wandless sprayers were great for making semi-blotchy white clouds with long white drips coming down like rain)
