This is a cool marker to add to your kit, but definitely not a standalone tool. Here’s my suggestion of how to incorporate this: Buy two of these, two toxic shockers, and two bottles of magic ink (black and white). Fill one of each marker with black, and the other with white. Now you can write on absolutely anything and everything regardless of the surface, and it all fits in your pocket. The steel nib is awesome for crusty stuff. It marks on everything except for smooth vertical surfaces - and that’s where the toxic shockers pick up the slack.
Seriously, if you’re looking for a minimalist kit this is what you need. This marker itself is barely larger than a presto white out pen, it holds a lot more paint, and it is nice and clean in your pocket. It’s not incredibly versatile but it can do what other markers simply can’t.
