(AP Reply) The cost of pigments have gone up, the cost of manufacturing (especially in the USA) has gone up, you name it... we do our best to keep prices low, but after a decade it was time for a small increase on these bad boys.

Hi! Could you describe the differences between the marker and the hobo marker?

(AP Reply) Hi there- the hobo is more like an oil pastel or grease stick. It does not have a cap but is instead protected by skin. Once you've removed the skin, you'll need to either use the whole marker or keep it in a bag/wrap.
The AP Solid is more firm but still more buttery than a Sakura. The Solid is equipped with a twisting mechanism and has a lid. It's encased in.a plastic body for easy transport.
