Question: I tried to run the marsh t grade through this but it wont flow out of the nib. Any tips?
Answer: (AP Reply) They take a long time to break in. But once you do you have a pal for life.

Question: 3 questions:
How tightly do you screw on the nib?
How long does the nib take to break in?
Should I break in the nib simply by writing with it?
Thanks AP!
Answer: (AP Reply) As with anything, make sure you screw this in all the way. If you leave gaps it may fall off or leak. Think Secure.

'Breaking In' is a matter of preference. If you like a crispy nib, then be gentle to it. If you want it frayed than write harder with it.

You can achieve a softer line by loosening the fibers of the nib in a number of ways. Heavy grit sandpaper or running it along concrete may do the trick.
