Superchargd mini from Kansas, USA    Saturday January 26, 2013 Asked this Question:
Subject: Interior automotive painting
Question: I read on several automotive forums that they were using the Molotov paint to paint their dash and door panels in the automobiles because this is such a superior paint. Has anyone on here done this? Also, do you have an primer that you recommend? Also, is there any cleaner outside of anti graffiti cleaner that will touch this product if used inside of an interior?
AP Reply: Cool. Have any links? And yes! We have a lot of customers who utilize the Molotow in their hot Rods and Restoration work. The Nitro Alkyd formula dries far faster that the Sticky American enamels Also it leaves a better finish that can easily be polished to a shine. If the surface is very clean then I would just cut the base coat with some sand paper and paint. You can also go to the automotive paint supply and pick up some waterborne primer. Clean up with mineral spirits.
